What: The A group is for experienced riders with a good level of fitness. The rides are quite steady during the autumn time of the year but it does get faster from January onwards. Berni Charlick usually leads this group with an average distance of 50-65 miles, increasing to 70+ in January. Towards the end of the ride the pace tends to quicken, so depending on your mettle you may get dropped from this group, but don’t worry, you won’t be too far from home..!
