Riccione is a brilliant trip. You can’t beat the Italian roads, weather and food for a cycling trip. The set up allows you to treat this as a serious triathlon camp or simply a fantastic holiday with days out on the bikes.

Every day at 9am 3 cycle guides arrive at the front of the hotel ready to take us out into some of the most stunning cycling scenery ever (read that to mean coastline, castle and HILLS). Routes are normally posted the night before. The rides are graded from social to sporting to challenging, but you can pick and choose. The guides are fantastic. There is always a cafe stop and excuse for cake.
The running
The hotel is right on the beach with several miles of beach promenade in both directions. Jump off the bike and go straight for a run.
The swimming
There is the sea!
But also a 50m public pool very close by. A good option if we are unlucky enough to have a day of bad weather.

Fly with bike v hire bike
The above prices include bike carriage. We strongly recommend you source a bike box if you plan to do this – we may know people who have one they are not using so worth asking around. The advantages of having your own bike are obvious. But remember you have to travel with it, pack and unpack it, make sure it still works on the other side etc.
An alternative is to hire a bike there. We normally get carbon road bikes form the local specialist shop. The cost is about the same.
Airport Transfer
Number dependent we normally organize a coach for the UK transfer. Costs to follow once numbers known.
At the other end, Claudio will collect us with the hotel mini bus and bike trailer. Its only 10 minutes away!
